The full-time course is aimed at teaching you how to create beautiful, responsive websites using modern front-end languages. Furthermore you will learn backend concepts like databases, server-side scripting and deployment.

Web Development

Learn how the internet works and how website requests are made.

HTML

The building blocks of your front-end website. Learn how to create compliant mark-up with HTML 5.

PHP

Understand and use PHP as your server-side language. Create powerful functional applications using PHP and it’s libraries.

Collaboration & Git

Manage your code versions and deployments using GIT and source control.

Work Preparation

Learn how to work together in a team, communicate effectively and prepare for interviews.

Javascript

Learn how to make your front-end interactive using javascript.

CSS

Style your applications with modern CSS3 techniques. Learn how to create styles for responsive websites.

MySQL Databases

Create applications by learning how to persist user data in databases. MySQL is the mostly common used database on the web.

Workplace Tools

Learn to use tools that are used on a daily basis in the workplace.

Internship

Enter into the CodeSpace placement program and get access to a coding internship.

Is there financial assistance?

Yes!
After graduation, you will be placed into a paid internship program with one of our industry partners, allowing payment of tuition fees while continuing to learn and getting hands-on experience

Nationality: Only South African citizens or people with South African study and work visas may apply for financial assistance

Qualification: Matric excemption, pass in Maths and English

What is the cost?

The course fee is R29 500

Where do internships take place?

At local tech companies

What are the entrance requirements?

Age: 18+
Location: CodeSpace is based in Woodstock, Cape Town and accommodation is not provided. Applicants must be able to travel to this location daily

Full-time: Applicants must be available for the full 13 week period
Skill level: Applicants must have computer literacy, but no coding background is required
